Plainspoken Point of Sale is operated by Mass Vantage Processing LLC, 3970 Brunswick Highway, Waycross, GA 31503. We serve restaurants in the United States. This page explains what we collect through this website, phone calls and texts, and what we do with it. The short version: we use it to help you, and we don’t sell it.

What we collect

• Send Statements form: your name, restaurant, email, phone number if you give it, and any processing statements you upload.
• See a demo form: your name, restaurant, phone, email, city and state, current POS if you share it, and the best times to reach you.
• Calls and texts: your phone number and what you tell us.

How we use it

We use your information to answer your request. That means reviewing your statements to show you what you’re really paying, scheduling your demo, and giving you support. Your statements are used only to review your fees, get your rate approved and answer your request.

Text messages

When you text us at (888) 291-8918, you agree to get text replies from us about your request or your account. If you check the texting box on one of our forms, you agree that we may text you first at the number you gave, about your request. That box is optional, and you don’t need to check it to work with us. We don’t send marketing texts. Message frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to stop texts. Reply HELP for help.

We do not sell or share your mobile number or your text opt-in information with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes.

Who else sees it

A few service providers help us run the business, and they handle your information only to do that work for us: Cloudflare hosts this site and stores form submissions, Aircall runs our phone and text system, Google runs our email, and Front runs our support inbox. Form submissions are also emailed to our team. We sometimes share a statement you send us with SpotOn or Square, the payment companies we work with, to get a lower rate approved for you or a second review of the fees. We don’t give them your contact information as a lead. We share your information with anyone else only if you ask us to, such as setting up an account with a POS provider you choose, or if the law requires it.

How we protect it

Form submissions are stored in a private database. Uploaded statements are kept in private storage, never at a public link. Access is limited to the people who need it to help you. Feel free to black out full bank account numbers before you upload. We only need to see the fees.

How long we keep it

We keep your information only as long as we need it to help you. Ask us to delete it, and we will.

Your choices

You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we have about you. Call or text (888) 291-8918, or email hello@plainspokenpos.com. To stop texts, reply STOP.

Cookies

We don’t use advertising cookies. Our hosting provider may process basic technical data, like your IP address, to deliver this site and keep it secure.

Children

This site isn’t meant for children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If we change this policy, we’ll post the new version here and update the date at the top.
